Forums and Workshops

There are no upcoming Community consultation forums or workshops at this stage.

Focus groups and in-depth interviews with randomly selected residents have been conducted by CATALYSE. This was to ensure a wide spread snapshot of views.

At these workshops the Commuity were shown a number of precinct options for both on and off the highway - these are available under Publications on this website.

This data along with the survey results from January 2009 has been used to prepare a draft plan for the Stirling Highway area.

In accordance with the Process Plan, the Draft Plan was referred to the Council Committee on 9 June 2009 and the Council meeting on 30 June 2009 for permission to advertise with the Community. 

Following the Council resolution 30 July 2009, Community consultation will be conducted throughout July.
